Canada Without Shadows is installed as part of a larger exhibition, Good Girls – Memory, Desire, Power, at MNAC, National Museum for Contemporary Art/Muzeul National de Arta Contemporana, curated by Bojana Pejic (Berlin), with assistant curator Olivia Nitis (Bucharest). MNAC is located at Isvor St., Palace of the Parliament, Wing E4, Bucharest.

Venice, Italy, June 1 – October 9, 2011. Canada Without Shadows is installed as part of Call the Witness in the Roma Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale, Palazzo Zorzi (UNESCO, Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe), 4930 Castello, 30122 Venice, Italy. Artistic director is Maria Hlavajova.

Utrecht, Netherlands, May 21 – July 24, 2011. Canada Without Shadows is installed as part of a larger exhibition, Call the Witness, at BAK – basis voor aktuele kunst, curated by Suzana Milevska. BAK is located at Lange Niewstraat 4, Utrecht, Netherlands.

about Call the Witness

BAK – basis voor aktuele kunst – describes Call the Witness as "a multifaceted project (which) explores the vibrant potentials of Roma art and the discourses that surround it, and seeks ways to contribute to the artistic, cultural, intellectual and political imaginaries of the contemporary world". Call the Witness artists are Marika Schmiedt, Kiba Lumberg, Alfred Ullrich, Nihad Nino Pusija, Milutin Jovanovic, Hedina Tahirović Sijerčić and Lynn Hutchinson Lee.
